The role of Quantity Surveyor is the core business at Lewis and Lewis Ltd. It is essential that all budgets from feasibility to pre-tender estimates are accurate and that design development is kept within these estimates. Lewis and Lewis Ltd prides itself on the accuracy of these estimates and that of its Bills of Quantities.
Our aim is always to keep the Design Team and the Employer fully informed of the anticipated final cost of the development throughout the contract period. If unforeseen costs occur during construction, we advise clients regarding these costs as soon as possible and wherever possible, recommend compensating savings by either reducing the scope of the works or by reducing the level of specification. Lewis and Lewis Ltd are justifiably proud of meeting ‘tender out’ dates on all projects and agreeing Final Accounts within the period for final measurement specified under the terms of the Contract.
