Increasingly clients are appointing Lewis and Lewis Ltd as the Project Manager to lead their construction team on major building projects. Since lewis and lewis limited have been acting as Employer’s Agent many clients have seen it as a natural progression to appoint them as their Project Manager. Lewis and Lewis Ltd have vast experience of all forms of contract including the standard J.C.T. contracts, N.E.C. and I.C.E contracts, P.P.C. 2000 and other multi-partnering contracts. We see the role of Project Manager in a very pro-active sense ensuring that all contract documentation is in place, each member of the design team has a brief with terms of appointment and realistic programmes are devised for the project as a whole. We do not usurp the Design Teams authority but ensure that they fulfill their obligations in an expedient manner. Being impartial we can provide that all important single point of contact between the Employer and the construction team.
